I grew up in social housing. So this work isn't just a market opportunity — it's personal.
I've spent over a decade in data and analytics, working inside organisations like Origin Housing (now Places for People), Logicor, Accenture and Serco. I've sat in the middle of messy, high-stakes data — property records, compliance data, operational reporting. The same pattern kept showing up: plenty of systems, plenty of dashboards, still nobody fully trusting the numbers.
Before that, I was elected Students' Union President twice during my degree in International Relations and French. My first real taste of representing people and pushing organisations to deliver on what they'd promised.
Housing associations are being held to higher standards than ever — Awaab's Law, regulatory judgements, Board-level scrutiny on asset and compliance data. I started Mahri Analytics because residents deserve providers who can stand behind their numbers, not just display them. That means tracing a headline figure all the way back to the property-level record underneath it, and explaining exactly what's there.
Right now, it's just me. Properly focused, not spread across twenty service lines. As the work grows, I'll bring in data engineers and other specialists where it genuinely adds value. For now, if you work with Mahri Analytics, you're working directly with me.
